About Our Class
ATTENDANCE/DISMISSAL
We will begin class at 8:35 AM. Our day ends at 3:05 PM.
For your child’s safety, we cannot change a child’s dismissal without written notification.
Students who arrive to school late must report to the Attendance Office to secure a late/admit to class pass.

HOME LEARNING
Home learning is required. Students will write their home learning assignments daily in their agendas. This will be sent home inside their agenda/folder. All home learning assignments will be checked daily. If a student is absent, he/she must make up their missed assignments at soon as possible.

SUPPLIES AND MATERIALS
Visit Supply List for information on general school supplies needed. Please check with your child to make sure that he/she has enough supplies throughout the year.

BEHAVIOR
All students are required to follow classroom and school rules. They are expected to be respectful and courteous towards teachers and other students. I encourage good behavior. Children will always be rewarded in my classroom for trying their best.

Class Dojo:
I am using ClassDojo to keep parents in the loop this year! I will share photos from class, important updates and wonderful moments – like when students work hard and help each other. Please sign up for our ClassDojo with the ClassDojo app. All students will receive and invitation with their individual parent code.

CURRICULUM
The curriculum that will be covered is very exciting, challenging and diverse and will be presented in a way where each student can refine previously learned skills as well as learn new concepts.

COMMUNICATION/CLASS WEBSITE
I will be communicating with you often about our classroom plans, your child's progress, school events and other activities as they arise. Please make sure your check your child's blue folder daily for any notes or letters. If you or your child should have any concerns regarding something for which you feel needs more explanation, please let me know and I will be glad to schedule a conference with you.
